Dress Policy ~ 2009-2010
Dress Code Requirements:
- Collared shirts with sleeves
- Shirts must be tucked into the bottom garment
- Jackets & sweatshirts with full front openings (button or zip up)
- School Spirit shirts on Friday only
- Belts are required if clothing has belt loops (a string is not a belt)
- Skirts, shorts, & shorts may be no more than 2" above the knee
- Pants, shorts, & skirts must be worn at the waist
- Shoes may be open toed, but must have a strap around the heel

Prohibited Items:
- Shirts & dresses worn over the collared shirt
- Clothing with messages (including words on the back of shorts or pants)
- Leggings
- T-shirts other than AMS shirts
- Flip flops
- Clothing with tears, rips or holes
- Head gear of any kind
- Sunglasses
- Electronics in view
- Students are not allowed to wear shirts that are tied up in a knot or with a rubber band.
